Double Isolation for PuroRack

Use of solid oak material ensures strong, stable and durable base. Standard hard wood shelves are robust with 3 cm thickness, top cover shelf is even more at 4 cm.

With PuroRack our goal was to minimize usage of metal parts: Main parts of the skeleton are all hardwood. Stability is reached by how the wood parts connect to each other. Role of metal in the structure of the skeleton is limited to screws pressing the wood elements together. Number of screws are minimized too to emphasise role of wooden material in transporting most of the resonances.

All shelves are independent from the skeleton, separation is made by ceramic balls, which have highly efficient damping attributes. Contact points between the balls and wood are strengthened by machined brass inserts.

Detaching from the floor is ensured either by using Soundcare spikes, or by our special PuroCube feets.
