Phrase “AV rack” mostly appear as a category of furniture which can hold AV equipments. Of course that’s one of the aspects, and this goal can be achieved with a mass produced shelf bought from the furniture store. We think it’s about more.
We at Captured Note Design believe AV racks play extremely important role in the way your system sounds and projects images. Their job is to eliminate as much resonance from the listening environment as possible to minimize external impacts influencing the electronics and as a result let them perform in their top forms.
Our mission is to provide the best possible isolation to electronics, packed into a design which pleases the eye and can find its place in any rooms.
PuroRack series of equipment racks is the first fruit of our long-time passionate development, and is set now as our reference.
PuroRacks feature a sophisticated double vibration control system. They give a clear view into the music with lifelike tones, dynamics, resolution and naturalness.
PuroRack also looks like a beauty and is highly modular.
We also wanted to give PuroRacks our own feet which matches the design and gives a further step-up in sound quality. This is the story behind PuroCube. We developed PuroCube for versatility, so hopefully in the near future it will be a standalone product.

Our design’s philosophy
Solid hardwood structure, brass reinforcement
Wood is a frequently used material in traditional instruments. Is this because in old times it was not possible to use exotic, more sophisticated materials? Not only. Wood has very good resonance attributes, so it contributes to fine sound.
We believe applying wood in equipment racks is a natural choice to eliminate unwanted resonances influencing your valuable equipment. How much wood? As much as possible.
At some key contact points the structure is under heavy pressure. We again found an old material to reinforce those places. Our choice is brass, which is not without reasons used in several traditional instruments.
Sophisticated vibration control
Hardwood structure is combined with today’s technology applying cutting edge ceramic ball based isolation for each shelves, and adjustable feets from the well known Soundcare or with our special PuroCube feets.
Beautiful finish, minimal, timeless design
Carefully selected, high quality natural hardwood material throughout. Clean shape, floating-like middle shelves, unique patterns, lacquer finish, color options. An eye catcher.
Variability and Modularity
Assembled from standard parts, number of levels and level heights are selectable. Two models are available, both in standard and compact sizes.
